Gabe Brooks

247Sports presents a fully-loaded edition of weekly rankings notes, headlined by several new four-star prospects in the 2025 class. But those talented risers account for only a quarter of the 20-pack of updates below, joining scouting intel on a couple of noteworthy prospects, several ratings bumps in the high three-star range, and a sizable batch of debut ratings in the 247Sports database. With all of that in mind, here's this week's rundown, led by the aforementioned risers who now own four-star labels on 247Sports.

NEW 4-STAR: DYLAN ROBINSON, 2025 ATH

Weekly rankings notes: Five new 4-stars and more than a dozen ratings updates in 2025 (2)

La Verne (Calif.) Bonita's Dylan Robinson rises to a four-star 90 rating and potential Top247 watch as one of the top two-way prospects out west. Robinson, who eclipsed 500 receiving yards and six TDs and also picked off four passes in Fall 2023, has scheduled official visits to UCLA and Utah.

"Big-time athlete from a testing and measurables standpoint. Type of prospect we should bet on given the data and production," said Andrew Ivins, 247Sports director of scouting. "Attacks the football and looks constantly in control on the offensive side of the ball. Creates separation while running a variety of different routes. Has the play strength and burst to get away from defenders after the catch. As a defender, might project as more of a deep safety, but could see the case for a boundary role with his length."

NEW 4-STAR: CJ WILEY, 2025 WR

Weekly rankings notes: Five new 4-stars and more than a dozen ratings updates in 2025 (3)

Recent rack data provide some valuable athletic context and scouting ammunition to elevate talented 2025 wideout CJ Wiley to a four-star 90 rating on 247Sports and Top247 watch. The Milton (Ga.) standout posted recent 100-meter times of a wind-legal 10.91 and a wind-aided 10.83, per MileSplit. In addition to his huge frame and verified speed, Wiley has a knack for making subtle adjustments to run into the ball's path, along with doing a consistently good job coming back to the ball when required.

Given his size in the 6-4, 210 range, Wiley is a contested-catch nightmare for defenses, and he's put plenty of intriguing run-after-catch moments on tape. The son of former LSU two-time all-SEC defensive lineman Chuck Wiley, who spent several years in the NFL, CJ Wiley finished 2023 with almost 70 catches for 1,400 plus yards and 14 TDs on nearly 22 yards per grab. Thirty-plus schools have offered Wiley, including Auburn, Florida State, Alabama, numerous others. -- Hudson Standish, 247Sports national scouting analyst

NEW 4-STAR: JT LINDSEY, 2025 RB

Previously unrated Alexandria (La.) 2025 running back JT Lindsey leaps into the 247Sports rankings with a debut four-star 90 rating and is on Top247 watch. Lindsey ran for more than 1,700 yards and two dozen-plus touchdowns this past fall, and has followed that on-field performance with strong track times of 10.96 in the 100 meters and 22.08 in the 200. An AAU track competitor, Lindsey ran a 10.85 100 as a sophom*ore. That speed shows on the field, where Lindsey combines pure athleticism and speed with position-specific know-how, including some block-pressing patience when required. Lindsey not only represents a linear home run hitter thanks to his acceleration and top-end speed, but he displays accompanying second-level move-stacking ability. The new 247Sports four-star back has scheduled official visits to Pitt and Houston, and home-state LSU recently offered and now leads the 247Sports Crystal Ball in Lindsey's recruitment. -- Gabe Brooks, 247Sports national scouting analyst

NEW 4-STAR: TRESTIN CASTRO, 2025 CB – USC COMMIT

Weekly rankings notes: Five new 4-stars and more than a dozen ratings updates in 2025 (4)

Perhaps the best pure cover corner in the state of California in terms of instincts, reactionary ability, and ball skills, Trestin Castro rises to a four-star 90 rating and jumps onto Top247 watch following impressive performances on the elite 7-on-7 circuit after a strong two-way junior season performance. Castro looks noticeably more explosive athletically than he did a year ago. He's produced 11 INTs over the last two seasons, plus numerous PBUs. He's capable of playing press or off, provides a physical style, shows excellent timing breaking on the ball, and never panics. Doesn't need to clutch or grab but plays with excellent technique and feel for the position. The Upland (Calif.) standout and USC commit could certainly play high-major ball at receiver as well, which speaks to his athleticism and ball skills. -- Greg Biggins, 247Sports national scouting analyst

NEW 4-STAR: MARIO NASH, 2025 IOL

Weekly rankings notes: Five new 4-stars and more than a dozen ratings updates in 2025 (5)

Verified at 6-foot-4 and 270-pounds as recently as February, Mario Nash Jr.has continued to emerge as one of the more intriguing interior offensive line prospects on our board. Despite the fact that he plays right tackle at De Kalb (Miss.) Kemper County, we ultimately believe the newly-minted four-star projects to the center position long term. With 34-plus inch arms and excellent foot and body quickness, the potential transition inside at the next level for Nash should be a seamless one as his athleticism to recover and his play strength make him a natural fit to be the middle anchor of an offensive line. -- Cooper Petagna, 247Sports national scouting analyst

SCOUTING NOTES: 2026 TOP100 EDGE KEVIN FORD

Weekly rankings notes: Five new 4-stars and more than a dozen ratings updates in 2025 (6)

Back-to-back Texas Class 6A Division I state champion Duncanville produces numerous high-major prospects on a virtually annual basis, and 2026 initial top 100 four-star Kevin Ford Jr. is one of the Panthers' next in line. Here's an excerpt from the recently updated 247Sports scouting report on Ford.

Looks like a classic 4-3 end who's comfortable playing with a hand on the ground and possesses the frame capacity to fill a WDE or SDE role in the long term. Flashes stack-and-shed strength at the point of attack. Has some power in his hands to jar blockers, particularly in the run game. Shows arc-running instincts and corresponding functional athleticism as a pass rusher. Makes plays with physical tools and motor alike. -- Brooks

SCOUTING NOTES: ANTHONY ADDISON, 2025 EDGE

Weekly rankings notes: Five new 4-stars and more than a dozen ratings updates in 2025 (7)

Sumter (S.C.) high three-star edge rusher Anthony Addison is set to announce some news on Friday and it appears that South Carolina could be in line to receive a commitment from the soon-to-be senior after a pair of recent trips to Columbia. There isn't much third-party verified information available on Addison, but we like what we know at this point. Here's an excerpt from his updated scouting report.

Productive front-seven defender who has operated primarily out of a four-point stance in both an odd and even look at the prep level. Size and length haven't been third-party verified, but appears to be the type of prospect who could be deployed in a variety of different alignments at the next level. Naturally pretty squatty, which allows him to get low and find leverage. Flashes some short-area quickness and the ability to bend while turning the corner. More importantly, tends to rush with a sense of urgency. -- Ivins

NEW RATING: DAKOTAH TERRELL, 2025 TE

Dakotah Terrell from tiny Pocola (Okla.) High School represents the type of rural, small-town gem who can hit big in the long run. A three-sport athlete who's a 1,000-point career scorer in basketball, Terrell has reported Division I hoops offers from programs such as Tulsa, Sam Houston State, and Cal Poly. A tall, athletic build accompanies Terrell's bouncy athleticism, which shows in his above-the-rim finishing ability on the hardwood and his ball-winning acumen in contested-catch situations. As a junior, Terrell caught almost 30 passes for 549 yards and seven touchdowns, while recording 38 tackles, eight tackles for loss, four sacks, an two interceptions for Oklahoma Class A Pocola. He debuted on 247Sports this week with the highest three-star rating of 89. Terrell reported Oklahoma and Oklahoma State offers following recent unofficial visits, as well as offers from Michigan and Texas A&M, among others. -- Brooks

RATING BUMP: MARCUS GARCIA, 2025 OT

Weekly rankings notes: Five new 4-stars and more than a dozen ratings updates in 2025 (8)

Denton (Texas) Ryan's Marcus Garcia, already a high three-star on 247Sports, rises to the highest three-star grade of 89 thanks to his continued excellence in a track and field setting. One of the premier throwers in this football class, Garcia won the Texas District 7-5A discus crown this past week with a 171-foot, 4-inch throw. According to track and field website MileSplit, Garcia has eclipsed 170 feet three times this spring, not to mention some early-season shot put throws between 49-7 and 50-8. Texas A&M leads the 247Sports Crystal Ball for Garcia with an expected commitment date in the next several days. Here's an excerpt from Garcia's recently updated scouting report.

High-level high school tackle who could potentially provide roster flexibility in college. Plays right tackle and could stay there or move to guard and likely feel right at home. Gets on his horse when pulling and engages targets at the second level on schedule. Still, may be more at home in a phone booth, where hand placement remains more consistent. -- Brooks

RATING BUMP: JALEN COOPER, 2025 WR

Weekly rankings notes: Five new 4-stars and more than a dozen ratings updates in 2025 (9)

Cibolo (Texas) Steele wideout Jalen Cooper rises to the highest three-star rating of 89 thanks to a couple of recent impressive performances at the Under Armour Houston Regional in late March and an OT7 event in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex to start April. Cooper has added a bit of needed mass. He's a savvy, smooth operator with a better-than-expected testing profile. The recent live exposures and combine performance follow Cooper's monster production against Texas Class 6A competition this past fall: 68 receptions, 1,661 yards, and 23 TDs on a whopping 24.4 yards per catch. Cooper has scheduled official visits to Oklahoma State, Kansas, and Baylor. -- Standish

RATING BUMP: KAYLIB SINGLETON, 2025 CB

Weekly rankings notes: Five new 4-stars and more than a dozen ratings updates in 2025 (10)

Another riser in the high three-star range is Kaylib Singleton, who jumps to an 88 rating on 247Sports. Singleton possesses an excellent speed-and-length combination for the cornerback position. The Orange Park (Fla.) Fleming Island standout owns the frame to match on the outside, and his recent performance at an elite camp event revealed encouraging agility and burst. Singleton, who recorded 27 tackles and one interception in Fall 2023, bolsters his case with a strong track and field profile, including a few separate sub-11.00 100-meter times since early March, along with solid reps in the 200 and high jump. The younger brother of Florida State running back Samuel Singleton Jr., Kaylib Singleton has reported 20-plus offers, including Florida, who got the first 247Sports Crystal Ball prediction a few weeks back. -- Ivins

RATING BUMP: LANDON RINK, 2025 DL – TEXAS A&M COMMIT

Weekly rankings notes: Five new 4-stars and more than a dozen ratings updates in 2025 (11)

Cypress (Texas) Cy-Fair defensive lineman Landon Rink rises in the high three-star range to an 88 rating on 247Sports thanks to an impressive recent performance in front of our staff and continued encouraging shot put prowess. Rink has eclipsed 45 feet in three of his four known shot put reps this semester, per MileSplit, including a 47-0, just shy of the 47-2 PR he set in Spring 2023. Additionally, the Texas A&M pledge once again performed well in a combine setting, this time at the Under Armour Houston Regional a couple of weeks back. Rink's 15-sack junior season should be a sign of what's to come this fall. As noted in his recently updated 247Sports scouting report, Rink's "combination of production and combine athleticism provide potential to rise up the DL ranks in the 2025 cycle." -- Brooks

NEW RATING: SHELDON ROBINSON, 2025 SAF

It's an ACC battle for Woodberry Forest (Va.) safety Sheldon Robinson, who has summer official visits set up with Virginia Tech, Duke and Virginia. Robinson has flown a bit under the national radar, but a deep dive into his junior cut-up has us bullish about what he could be at the next level as he's a rangy second-level defender with ball skills. This past season, the long-limbed Robinson picked off six passes. That's after a sophom*ore campaign in which he racked up 101 tackles.

The ability to play both the run and pass is certainly notable, but we also believe that Robinson is far from a complete product. Not only is he on the younger side for his grade, but he just recently ripped off a personal-best 10.92 in the 100-meter dash. Robinson debuts with a high three-star grade of an 88. He's tailor-made for new-age defenses that want to play fast and aggressive. -- Ivins

NEW RATING: DONOVAN JONES, 2025 LB

Waco (Texas) Midway's Donovan Jones looks like an all-scenarios off-ball linebacker who plays comfortably in space as a zone dropper, as well as playing forward vs. the run. Instincts are very important at linebacker, and Jones seems to play with plenty natural football acumen. Jones flashed encouraging ball skills this past fall, when he also displayed the ability to play through bigger blockers to factor against the run. Jones, who debuted this week on 247Sports with a high three-star 88 rating, is close to double-digit offers, including programs such as Baylor, Houston, Oklahoma State, and TCU in the Big 12 Conference. -- Brooks

NEW RATING: RESHAD STERLING, 2025 EDGE – HOUSTON COMMIT

Willie Fritz and his staff are no strangers to landing Louisiana gems and developing them into big-time talent. Lutcher (La.) standout Reshad Sterling, who committed Wednesday to Houston, could fit that exact bill. A new high three-star 88-rated edge on 247Sports, Sterling plays with his hair on fire and brings an edge, no pun intended, to Houston's class.

Highly active edge defender with experience at various spots in multiple fronts, but physical specs and play style look like a classic four-man end with a hand on the ground. Verified as a sophom*ore in the 6-2.5, 215 range, but looked bigger on junior tape. Also showed noticeable point-of-attack violence and speed-to-power ability in Fall 2023. Flashes heavy hands and impressive redirecting suddenness in pursuit. Displays some pass-rush nuance with an effective inside counter and some dip-and-rip arc-running athleticism. -- Brooks

NEW RATING: BRYCE YATES, 2025 ATH

Weekly rankings notes: Five new 4-stars and more than a dozen ratings updates in 2025 (12)

Chesterfield (Va.) Matoaca's Bryce Yates is one of the better kept secrets in The Old Dominion State for the 2025 cycle. We went back and forth on whether or not to list the new three-star 88 as a wide receiver or a safety and ultimately settled on an athlete tag, and that's in large part because we think he has a high ceiling at both positions. A three-phase playmaker since he was a freshman on varsity, Yates is coming off a junior season in which he caught 79 passes for 1,193 yards and 15 touchdowns while adding 27 tackles and six interceptions on defense. Both Duke and Pittsburgh want Yates and his dynamic movement patterns on offense, but he's a route-jumper on the other side of the ball, and one that can get from hash to hash. Maryland is another school communicating with Yates, who also plays basketball. -- Ivins

NEW RATING: CHASE COLEMAN, 2025 CB - UCLA commit

Credit to UCLA for identifying and landing Frisco (Texas) Memorial's Chase Coleman, an intriguing cover man with a strong football pedigree as the son of a former NFL player. Legitimately 6-foot-2+, Coleman is slender but fairly long, and his coverage instincts are obvious on tape. UCLA joins North Texas as the only FBS programs to offer Coleman, but he's a legitimate high three-star prospect with an 87 rating on 247Sports.

Taller, leaner, wiry-framed cover corner who's shown capability to play on a perimeter island. Quicker-footed than your average long-framed cover man. Displays promising technical awareness and stays in phase to remain sticky downfield. Flashes some catch-point disruptiveness thanks to longer levers. Shows a willingness to get involved in the run game that should improve with added mass and strength. Checks the multi-sport category with long jump and triple jump participation. Projects as a quality FBS corner prospect who can fit multiple schemes. Could become a P4-caliber starter with developmental upside given frame specs. -- Brooks

NEW RATING: LEO ALMANZA, 2025 CB

Trophy Club (Texas) Byron Nelson's Leo Almanza owns intriguing on-field and athletic profiles that suggest ample long-term developmental upside as a cornerback. Playing both ways at the Texas 6A level is not common, but Almanza did it this past fall to the tune of 500-plus receiving yards, nine TD catches, and four interceptions on defense. Eclipsing 6 feet with plus length, Almanza has tested quite well in a combine setting, while also posting some encouraging track data, including a freshman 10.99 100 and a junior 22.04 200. A newly-rated strong three-star with an 86 grade, Almanza thrives in off coverage with anticipatory instincts and ball skills. Almanza reportedly has scheduled official visits to Utah, Kansas State, Baylor, and Houston. -- Brooks

NEW RATING: TERRENCE LEWIS, 2025 WR

Weekly rankings notes: Five new 4-stars and more than a dozen ratings updates in 2025 (13)

Bryan (Texas) 2025 receiver Terrence Lewis represents the type of pass catcher who excels when he gets vertical as quickly as possible. Owner of a recent 21.59-second 200-meter rep, Lewis' long speed shows on those downfield shots, which helped him eclipse 900 yards and seven touchdowns on 49 receptions in Fall 2023. He also showed some big-play ability as a gadget weapon with 16 carries for 216 yards and three TDs. Lewis' combination of on-field playmaking ability and valuable track context fuel his debut on 247Sports with a three-star 85 rating. Kansas State, which has gotten the first Crystal Ball forecast in Lewis' recruitment, joins Minnesota, Texas Tech, and several more FBS programs on Lewis' offer list. -- Brooks

NEW RATING: LANDON HAMMOND, 2025 CB

Landon Hammond helped Opelousas (La.) to an 11-win, Louisiana Division II Non-Select state championship season this past fall thanks in part to his length and catch-point peskiness as a cover man. The owner of more than a dozen offers to date, Hammond tested pretty well at the recent Under Armour Houston Regional, and also caught our attention at the OT7 event in the DFW Metroplex this past week.

Hammond, who also runs track, must add some mass and get stronger, but pushing 6 feet with a plus wingspan, possesses the modern sinewy frame so often associated with corners in today's game. He displays consistent turn-and-locate ability and sometimes makes himself the receiver in contested situations. As he develops physically, Hammond -- a new three-star with an 85 rating on 247Sports -- possesses some upside given his length and instincts. He's reported offers such as Arkansas, Arizona State, Ole Miss, Georgia Tech, Tulane, and UCF. -- Brooks

-- 247Sports' Andrew Ivins, Cooper Petagna, Greg Biggins, and Hudson Standish contributed to this report.
